Mystic Valley Studio is an all analog recording studio located in an unassuming house by the Mystic River, just north of Boston in Medford, Ma.
The studio is truly all analog, with nothing digital in the signal path and a majority of the gear here is either a restored classic vintage piece, or modeled after one.
Owner/Recordist Alex Garcia-Rivera has more than 15 years of experience as a studio drum tech, as well as over 20 years experience as a drummer, playing in the bands Piebald, Kingpin, Get High, Saves The Day, Shelter, Give Up The Ghost, Good Clean Fun, Bloodhorse, We Shot The Moon, Face The Enemy, Better Than A Thousand, Avoid One Thing, 454 Big Block, and currently, Cold Cave.
